S. D. Sudarsan, Executive Director, CDAC Bangalore, India

Dr. S. D. Sudarsan has over 3 decades of R&D experience in India as well as the United States and a wide expertise in various technology domains. His areas of interest include Semantic mining/BIG Data, HPC, Cyber Security, IPR, Technology Management, Strategic Management and emerging technologies. Dr. Sudarsan is currently heading C-DAC Bangalore as Executive Director, where he is overseeing the development of Quantum Technologies, Chip-2-Startup program, EDA Toolgrid etc. among other technologies. Prior to his position at C-DAC Bangalore, Dr. Sudarsan was associated with ABB Corporate Research; The United States Food and Drug Administration (US FDA); Central Research Laboratory (Bharat Electronics Limited (CRL-BEL); ERDCI; CEDTI. Dr. Sudarsan has been honoured with prestigious awards like FDA's Outstanding Service Award, FDA's Group Recognition Award. During his PhD at UALR, US he had received the Outstanding PhD Graduate Student Award, Academic Achievement Award & Professional Service Award. He has been a Featured Reviewer at “reviews.com” (2010) and he has also been mentoring Graduate and Doctoral students. Dr. Sudarsan completed his Ph.D. from University of Arkansas at Little Rock (UALR) USA and is a Fellow IETE and Senior Member IEEE. He has to his credit more than 100 technical papers and 8 patents (3 granted). He is actively involved in professional activities including organizing conferences.

Javed G. S., Analog IP Design Manager, Intel Corporation, Bangalore, India

Dr. G. S. Javed is an Analog IC design manager with 17+ years of experience in design of Analog Mixed Signal (AMS) and SerDes IP Circuits. Since 2023, he is the Analog IP Design Manager in the Advanced Design division at Intel Foundry. He received his M.S. and Ph.D. from the Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bangalore. He worked on low power integrated instrumentation circuits for sensing applications. In 2015, he founded King Consultants Education (http://tiny.cc/KingConsultants) to work on Design Thinking and Experiential Learning. He also is an advisor/guide for PhD aspirants. From 2020 - 2023, he was the Technical Lead - Analog for the High Bandwidth Memory (HBM) and DDR PHY team in Intel. From 2016 - 2020, he led the team on High Speed Circuits, setup and managed the R&D team and managed a team of 10+ designers at Terminus Circuits Pvt Ltd. From 2012 - 2016, he was a Senior Research Fellow at IISc working on integrated sensor interfaces. He has over 30 peer reviewed journals and IEEE conference publications to his credit. He is an active IEEE volunteer of 15 years. He is a Senior Member of the IEEE (2016) and was inducted into the IEEE Eta Kappa Nu (HKN) - the Honour society of IEEE in 2017 for Academic Excellence. He has served as the Chairperson of IEEE TEMS Bangalore Chapter in 2023. He is associated as a Member of the EXECOM of IEEE CASS, SSCS, Sensors Council, SIGHT, Consultant Network and RFID council in Bangalore. He was the Educational activities Chair/Co-Chair in the IEEE Bangalore Section execom from 2017 - 2019. He is the 2025 Chairperson, IEEE CNAG Bangalore Chapter. He is also an active speaker and motivator on Analog Mixed Signal Circuit Design, High Speed SerDes Design, Design Thinking, Entrepreneurship, Research Methodologies and Technical Writing. He has delivered 200+ invited talks on his topics of interest.

R. Dinesh, Managing Director and Head of Business, Samsung Electromechanics, Bangalore, India

Dinesh is a Managing Director and head of business at Samsung Electro-Mechanics, Bangalore. Prior to joining Samsung, He worked for companies like Amazon, Honeywell, HCL Technologies. He was a post doctoral fellow at Seoul National University, Seoul. His areas of research interest includes Image processing, Pattern Recognition, Computer Vision and Machine Learning. He has over 75 publications to his credit at both International and National Journals and conferences. He also has 27 awarded patents to his credit. He is serving in the editorial board of several journals. He has been identified as reviewer for several International Journals/conferences. He has served as program committee member for several National/International Conferences. He has successfully guided 6 Ph.D scholars and presently guiding 3 Ph.D scholars. He has successfully guided many academic and research projects. He is a life member of IEEE, Computer Society of India and Society of Statistics, Compute and Applications, International Association of Engineers, Hong Kong. He is also serving as member of Board of Studies, Board of Examiners and Advisory committe in several universities.

Mohammed Misbahuddin, Associate Director, Cybersecurity Researcher, CDAC Bangalore, India

Dr. Mohammed Misbahuddin is a Cybersecurity expert, AI Governance Assessor, and Technology Leader with over 23 years of experience, including 18 years in Research and Development. He is India’s first IEEE Certified Authorized Assessor for Autonomous Intelligent Systems and a key contributor to the Government of India's Cybersecurity, Identity Management, and Digital Trust initiatives. He Chairs the IEEE P2989 Working Group on Standard on “Authentication in a Multi-Server Environment”, shaping global authentication standards. He has established the Centre for HPC Upskilling and Knowledge-sharing (C-HUK) at C-DAC Bangalore and North East, empowering students, faculty, and professionals in HPC-AI and HPC-Cyber Security. Dr. Misbahuddin is the initiator of ePramaan, a National e-Authentication Service integrated with Aadhaar, significantly strengthening India’s digital identity ecosystem. He has been instrumental in developing the Cyber Security Framework (CSF) for multiple Government Ministries and contributed to the e-Authentication Standards & Guidelines for the Ministry of Electronics & IT (MeitY). A dedicated advocate for Cybersecurity awareness, Dr. Misbahuddin has educated over 20,000 people, including government officials, across India through Digital Signature (www.pkiindia.in) and Cybersecurity Campaigns. He has delivered 300+ expert talks across 33 states and UTs, making cybersecurity knowledge accessible to diverse audiences. He is an invited speaker at national and international conferences, influencing policy, research, and industry best practices. He is a Senior Member of IEEE and IEEE Standards Association. He is an active contributor to IEEE Blended Learning Content in Cyber Security and HPC and an implementor of IEEE SWEBOK for enhancing students' understanding of software design. With 2 granted patents in Secure Authentication, 50 International research publications, and 5 successfully awarded PhDs under his supervision, he continues to lead impactful academic and research initiatives. Dr. Misbahuddin is also involved in Capacity Building and Skill Development programmes. As Member-Convener of the Academic Council of C-DAC, he is involved in efforts to modernize academic programs and align them with emerging technology trends. He also serves on the Board of Studies of various universities, contributing to curriculum development and research initiatives.
